The excitement begins!!

It has been quite a rainy summer this year.  With that in mind we watched the hourly weather forecast to see when we could pack the boat and head out. We also had to be in Mont Tremblant by 1:30, and wanted to give ourselves lots of extra time in case of traffic.

So we woke up at 3am...

I barely slept, all the things running through my head... remembering more things... hoping everything will fit... and mostly, making sure I heard the alarm.

By 5:30 we were packed up and ready to go! 

Traveling with the two dogs went perfectly! Arrived in Mont Tremblant by 12:30! Lots of time to get gas, groceries and walk the dogs. Not necessarily in that order.  

In Quebec it is very different we were soon to find out! When you meet with the Notaire, you also sit with the previous owner and sign the selling/purchasing final paperwork together. It was a great opportunity to ask questions about the property.  Such a great idea! 

After about 45 minutes everything was signed and completed and we had the keys and were once again ON OUR WAY!!
