It's been a little while...

I know it's been a while since I've posted. We have been VERY busy with renovations etc at the cabin! The front is finished, I made some shutters out of wood that was laying around and painted them black. Virtually no cost as I used the paint I already had. Cricket thinks they are awesome. ;)

A couple of shots of the new fire pit, I found some bricks that were under the new deck and made a large square so we have a big fire pit! Can't beat that view! :D

Did I mention we got a couple Kayaks? They are awesome! Great upper body workout especially on a windy day! Although this day the lake was like glass!

Sunsets...

We have an air conditioner unit in the living room, so I made a "G" with my jigsaw mounted it on a board and that now covers the unit. Looks way better. Again all just stuff I had laying around. :)

I made a coat rack hook thingy... Just grabbed hooks from Dollarama those really great "Drunk Octopus wants to fight" ones... :P

This paneling (below) is actually now all gone, we've taken almost all of it off and now it is Drywall. :D

I did start painting the chandelier in the kitchen and replaced the bulbs, this is it so far, will post a photo of the finished product later. (when we go back up)

I recovered all the cushions etc... here is one of the rockers.

I replaced the fabric inside the 1960's lamps, and framed up some photos I downloaded from the internet.

Apparently this is the only photo I have of the sign I made out front with our names on it... (sheesh)

 This is the cover for the air conditioner so far... tv is now mounted over the fireplace and the wires are all tidied up! :)

And when I finished painting the exterior with my AMAZING airless sprayer, I brought the Maple Leaf from home to hang here. <3
