Just like that!
And just like that the summer was over.
Honestly, I can NOT believe how fast it went. On my drive home last night (myself and the dogs as Bob was in Philly for the home opener and new SUPERBOWL banner drop) I was thinking about all the visitors and what my favourite moments were.
We enjoyed having everyone up, and nothing beats the sound of a campfire crackle, laughter, good wine, the sound of the loons, trees blowing in the breeze... I digress...
So my favourite "Life Book Moment" (moments you will always remember how they made you feel) with guests one night we went down to the dock to look at the stars. Then, all four of us laid down on our back to watch the Perseids Meteor Shower. It was quite awe inspiring to say the least. Just staring up at the sky, the Milky way and seeing stars shoot across the expanse of sky.
Breathtaking.
I want to thank everyone who did take the time to travel so far to visit.

Bob and Francie. We can't thank you enough for the invitation and the fabulous hospitality. We enjoyed ourselves soooooo much, and it was great being able to catch up with the two of you after way too many years of not seeing you. Barb and I had so much fun spending time with the two of you. Whether it was the beautiful boat rides, golfing with Bob, dinner at C'est La Vie, wandering around the Tremblant village or just hanging out on the deck drinking Tito's or wine, it truly was amazing. It was a perfect way for us to end out trip back home....in Canada!! We both can't wait to spend more time with you guys again. Your summer cottage is absolute paradise.
